The GFO concerts are performed by professional musicians supported by a team of volunteers. The efforts of our volunteers, the Gateway Notables, are essential to our success. We extend our sincerest thanks to the 2021 Gateway Notables:

Some of the tasks our volunteers perform:
Working throughout the year:
Bookkeeping, grant writing, fundraising, newsletter design, gifts, venue communications, data entry, event advertisement, preparation of mailings, program ad sales, social media coordination, program writing and assembly, music folder assembly, coordinating outreach concerts, website design, hiring musicians.
. . . and on the evenings of our concerts: Attendance card processing, gift distribution, program distribution, donation collection, audience count, photography/videography, recycling and de-littering.

The Gateway Festival Orchestra welcomes enthusiastic volunteers who have a love of live music and a passion for serving the people of our community.
