Notes from our 2019 Season
Since 1970, the GFO has performed at the Brookings Quadrangle of Washington University, a casual outdoor setting conducive to picnics and family gatherings. In 2019 the “Wash U Quad” was unavailable due to construction and so the GFO, with its new Music Director/Conductor Darwin Aquino, performed to great acclaim at the Washington University Music Center located at 560 Trinity Avenue, University City. The GFO planned concerts at both venues in 2020, but the season was canceled due to the covid19 global pandemic. We hope to return to both venues in the near future.
