Help Us Fund Our Season by Participating in GiveSTL on Tuesday, May 5

To help us fund our concerts, we are participating in GiveSTL. GiveSTL will take place on Tuesday, May 5th for a 24-hour period.

We’re on a countdown, May 5 is fast approaching! Please mark your calendars. We need your donations to succeed!

Give STL Day is a wonderful opportunity for us to help others learn more about the Gateway Festival Orchestra and for other non-profits in our community. A partnership between the Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation and local nonprofits from across the area, Give STL Day is an online day of giving where nonprofits like ours will be reaching out to our donors – and looking for new ones – as we educate them about our mission and raise operating funds.

Last year, Give STL Day generated a total of $1.1 million for the 528 participating nonprofits. This year will be even better with 790 organizations participating.

It’s time for all of us to think BIG. The Gateway Festival Orchestra has an annual budget of $68,500 and all of our concerts are presented FREE OF CHARGE to our community. We need YOU to continue our mission and expand our Children’s Concerts. Please share this information with your family and friends. We not only need you to donate, we need for you to share Gateway’s contribution to our community!

The Give STL Day website will make giving easy, safe and fun. By visiting givestlday.org on May 5, you can designate your gift to The Gateway Festival Orchestra that is sharing symphonic music this summer. Additionally, we are sharing the joy of music with young children through our Young People’s Concert— all free of charge!

Visit www.givestlday.org for additional details, and don’t forget to give on May 5! Please note there are opportunities for you to win prizes and help Gateway receive additional money.

Thank you for your support,
Raymond Taylor, Ph.D.
