The Gateway Festival Orchestra and Guest Conductor Christopher Kelts invite you to “Celebrate Gershwin”, an evening dedicated to the timeless compositions of George Gershwin.
Experience the tender embrace of Gershwin’s Lullaby, the iconic melodies of Porgy and Bess, and the vibrant energy of An American in Paris . The brilliant pianist and GFO Young Artist Jiyeon Lee performs the spellbinding Rhapsody in Blue. All is enhanced by the outstanding acoustics of the Music Center concert hall.
Join us Sunday July 28th, 7:30 PM at the 560 Music Center for an evening that that will leave you captivated and inspired. “Notes to Munch On”, an informal discussion of the evening’s selections, begins in the auditorium at 7:10 PM. The concert is free. Free parking in the parking garage to the rear of the building.
